The Downs has merged with its close neighbour Malvern College Prep School. The merged school will remain a small family prep school for day and boarding boys and girls and will celebrate the best practice from both schools. There has been a £6m investment into facilities which include a new hockey astro pitch, netball and tennis courts, new purpose built Pre Prep and Montessori Early Years classrooms, refurbished Boarding House and a four badminton court Sports Hall. The school is also served by an extensive rural transport service.
